Also, Heros is my hero! Check it out mobile flex framework added to Flex!
http://blogs.adobe.com/flex/archives/2010/06/introducinghero.html
Previously, we had investigated splitting off mobile development into a separate, new branch of the Flex framework, code-named Slider. However, the rapid increases in performance on smartphone-class devices over the past year, combined with the highly optimized performance of Adobe runtimes on these devices, now make it feasible to support mobile use cases directly with the core Flex framework. This unification of both mobile- and desktop-targeted features into a single framework is one of the cornerstones of the Hero release.

Space City AUG RSS Feed Jeremy Allaire on the Future of Web Content - Feb 6
ColdFusion guru, Jeremy Allaire, has written a very good article that takes a very objective look into the future.
The Future of Web Content ? HTML5, Flash & Mobile Apps
http://www.techcrunch.com/2010/02/05/the-future-of-web-content-html5-flash-mobile-apps/
He sums it up perfectly, "Its all about reach. While it is easy to take a binary position in the future of content applications and run-times, it is evident that the competing interests of platform vendors, consumers and app and content publishers will ensure that this remains a fragmented and competitive environment for many years to come."
Space City AUG RSS Feed Future of Flash - iPad,HTML5 ... - Feb 2
There has been a lot more chatter on blogs, twitter, etc. recently about Flash NOT being included on the new apple iPad and it possibily being replaced in the distant future by HTML 5.
Here is a very good response from Adobe with the perfect title
Open Access to Content and Applications
http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2010/02/open_access_to_content_and_app.html
I won't comment specifically about it ... because I'm too busy building high-demand Flash-based RIA solutions with Flex and Air 2 :)
